Some of the most amazing photos that we capture of Seniors are when they bring in sports equipment or in this case their skateboard. It is so cool to see action shots of a volleyball player spiking the ball or a soccer player bouncing the ball on their knees. And this next shot is truly amazing as well--our photographer, Mick was able to capture Scott doing a 360 kickflip on his board. How cool is that! It is hard enough to do that kind of trick and equally difficult to time the shot just right to capture it behind the lens.
We love these shots and hope you do too!

Grant, a senior from St. Bonaventure came in to the studio and shot some really cool images. He brought props and his fun personality.

At the studio, we LOVE shooting high school seniors and each bring their own personality and stories through the photos.
Sometimes we have the joy of talking with the senior and their family and hear their story. When Matt, his mom and his sister Anya came into the studio to order their photos some of us had the pleasure of talking to them and WOW, is this a stellar senior. He has so much love in his heart, we couldn't wait to share his story.
Matt is homeschooled and during '06, '07 and '08 he had the opportunity to go to Russia on a missionary trip. (What a cool experience that must have been!) When Matt was there he helped at an orphanage and met Anya. The two formed an overwhemlingly special bond and when Matt went back home he told his mom about Anya and showed her photos. She fell in love with Anya and wanted to give her the life she deserves and have her become a part of the family. In 2010, Matt's mom went to Russia and adopted Anya.
Their story touched our hearts and that is why we call Matt, a SunWest stellar senior!! Thanks for being a role model Matt, the world needs more people like YOU!!
